April 25, 2014. PhylloTech, LLC (Madison, WI) announces that it will exhibit at the 2014 Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) International Meeting in San Diego, CA from June 23-27, 2014. The company was selected by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to host a kiosk in the Innovation Zone, an area of the Exhibition floor that is dedicated to showcasing Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grantees. SBIR grants provide early-stage funding for small businesses, and PhylloTech currently has a Phase II SBIR grant from the NSF to develop a trichome bioproduction system. PhylloTech has been awarded a travel grant from the NSF to exhibit at the event, and the company has also received a travel scholarship from BioForward (Madison, WI), a member-driven state association that is the voice of Wisconsin’s bioscience industry.
