April 25, 2014. PhylloTech, LLC (Madison, WI) announces that it will exhibit at the 2014 Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) International Meeting in San Diego, CA from June 23-27, 2014. The company was selected by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to host a kiosk in the Innovation Zone, an area of the Exhibition floor that is dedicated to showcasing Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grantees. SBIR grants provide early-stage funding for small businesses, and PhylloTech currently has a Phase II SBIR grant from the NSF to develop a trichome bioproduction system. Ryan Shepherd (CEO), Danielle Stacy (R&D Manager), and Dan Pfaff (Associate Scientist) will attend the convention, and they will introduce the company’s technology to potential customers, strategic partners, and investors. Please contact Ryan Shepherd through the One-on-One Partnering System at the BIO Conference website if you would like to schedule a meeting at BIO 2014.
